Before you make a splash in J Club’s pools or relax in the hot tub, take a minute to read through the rules. Safety is vital, especially around water. And remember, each member household is allowed a maximum four guests at any given time.
Rules to note
Read the J Club rules and access agreement for a more thorough listing of the dos and don’ts. Pool specific rules begin on page 7.
1. Glass is prohibited inside the pool gates.
Think glass water bottles and swim goggles with glass lenses, etc.
2. Leave pool equipment at home.
This includes items like sunbathing floats, kickboards, footballs, beach balls, water guns, water balloons, etc.
3. Outside food and beverage are prohibited.
Members are welcome to bring water in a non-glass container. Water fountains are located at each pool water refill stations are available inside the J Club.
Food and beverage can be purchased from the Café or Bar + Grill to be enjoyed at tables or lounge chairs by the pool. All food and beverage, even water, must be consumed outside of the pools and hot tub.
Coolers and insulated bags are also prohibited.
4. All ages are welcome with these provisions:
- Children younger than 14 must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Swim diapers are required for children who aren’t yet toilet trained (we recommend rubber pants, too, as a double layer of protection).
- Children younger than 4 shouldn’t use the hot tub.
5. Keep pool gates closed — don’t prop them open.
This helps prevent non-members from accessing the amenity and keeps little ones from running in without supervision. Make sure the gate is fully closed every time you enter or exit the pool area.
6. Smoking is prohibited on all J Club property.
This includes the pools, hot tub, sundeck, patio and sports courts, as well as inside the building.
We need your eyes and ears
You can help us create a safe environment. If you see something suspicious, like someone hopping the pool fence, report it to the Prescott Valley Police Department by calling their non-emergency line at 928-772-9267.
If you notice anything out of place, damaged, or not functioning properly, please alert a staff member. Catch us while we’re roaming the amenities (during pool season) or stop by the front desk. And, of course, if there’s an immediate threat of bodily harm or property damage, call 9-1-1.
